Samson explained that T20 cricket is unpredictable, and “you can’t step the line at that point of time.” During the final over, Sandeep Sharma believed he had dismissed Abdul Samad, but it turned out to be a no-ball. Samad then hit a six off the free hit, securing a four-wicket win for Sunrisers.
Samson acknowledged that the IPL produces exciting matches, and anyone can win at any time. Despite the loss, he remains hopeful that his team will continue to play their best cricket. Meanwhile, Sunrisers’ skipper, Aiden Markram, was delighted with his team’s performance and praised the contributions of various players, including Glenn Phillips, who won the Player of the Match award.
